We are seeking a  professional, mature retail sales associate with a demonstrated strength in retail sales and keyholder experience to join our team.
The Opportunity with us:
As part of the Made in the Maritimes team, under the general direction of the Managing Directors, you will provide exceptional customer service while providing assistance with the day-to-day operations of the store, from initial customer greeting through to the final sale. You will perform sales transactions, proactively greet customers, provide advice and information about products and maintain an environment attractive to customers - while ensuring a positive customer experience at all times.  You are able to work at our Halifax and Bedford locations and have the availability and flexibility to work weekends, evenings and daytime shifts.  

About you: 
  • You strive to provide above standard customer service; you are a natural at creating a great customer experience by tapping into your proven customer service skills and always aim to exceed customer expectations.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of strong sales and customer relations experience, have keyholder experience and are able to meet sales targets.
  • Experience in a specialty retail environment is an asset.
  • Post secondary education is considered a strong asset.  
  • You have strong computer skills; you have strong attention to detail; ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment and you have been noted for your strong work ethic.
  • Capable of lifting 25 lbs and able to safely climb a ladder
